Communicating Ideas: Countering Myths @ IIMC

On 10th February, 2016, one day workshop was held with the student of English Journalism of Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC, Delhi). Students were introduced to the grassroots comics methodology and an in depth discussion was held on stereotyping other communities, especially north-east.

Apart from north-east, the students also discussed about other common stereotypes which exists in this country. Many students from south India openly admitted that how this discrimination exists at both the ends. One noteworthy thing about this workshop was students sat till evening and were so glued to this medium and its methodology that they were not willing to go before finishing up with their comics.
